—a seasoned design professional with over a decade of expertise in leading design projects for global brands and emerging startups.
Throughout my 15 year design career, I was given the opportunity to work on over 100 projects, leading teams and diving into hands-on work across a spectrum of disciplines, including UX, Product Management, Interaction Design, Brand Management, DesignOps, Communications among other areas, roles and responsibilites.
Despite the different challenges, timelines, budgets, teams, or even countries—
my main goal has persisted:
design brands,
products,
interactions
and experiences
that SOLVE real PROBLEMS
for real people.
Design brands,
products,
interactions
and experiences
that fulfill real goals
for real people.
I've had the pleasure (and challenge) of working with some big companies
and the challenge (and pleasure) of giving life to amazing new brands and products.
Creating products that meet real user needs and business objectives by leading user research, overseeing iterative design processes, driving strategic decisions and ensuring team collaboration.
Developing and maintaining brand identity while ensuring products align with market demands through strategic brand development, competitive analysis, market research, and effective positioning.
Leading creative direction to produce visually compelling and effective communication systems by leveraging expertise in visual design, systemic design and storytelling.
Streamlining design and product operations to enhance efficiency and collaboration through process optimization, team coordination, tools integration, and workflow automation.
This initial phase is all about diving deep into understanding the needs, behaviors, and pain points of our target users.
We gather meaninful data, conduct interviews, and analyze user feedback to build a solid foundation for our design decisions.
By combining business analysis with design discovery processes, we ensure that we are solving the right problems and addressing real user needs.
We dive into what’s realistically achievable.
We team up with stakeholders to get on the same page about technical feasibility, budget, and timelines. This step involves examining the tech landscape, understanding resource limits, and ensuring our ideas are practical.
By collaborating closely with engineers and project managers, we set clear boundaries and realistic expectations to make sure our solutions are not just innovative, but doable.
Here’s where creativity takes the stage. This phase is all about exploring options and refining them through internal feedback.
We test our ideas within the team to make sure they align with what we discovered in the earlier phases. This iterative process helps us hone in on the most viable solutions before we take them out for external validation.
The final phase involves rigorous testing and validation with real users and stakeholders.
We deploy our prototypes to gather feedback from the actual people who will use the product, as well as the stakeholders who defined the initial requirements. This stage is critical for assessing the effectiveness of our solutions in real-world scenarios.
By conducting usability tests, surveys, and interviews, we measure user satisfaction and identify areas for improvement. This comprehensive feedback loop ensures that the final product not only meets but exceeds expectations, delivering measurable success and fulfilling the project's goals.
